About us
Vets for Cats is a home visiting veterinary service exclusively for cats in the greater Dublin and County Kildare area. We love cats and want to keep them healthy and happy for as long as possible by providing dedicated, compassionate and affordable veterinary services in the comfort of their homes.
The service is developed for cats, who do not like travelling to the vets, and also for their owners, who would rather avoid the stress that this can entail.
This service is run by veterinary surgeon Julia Ivanova, a registered member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons in London and a member of the International Society of Feline Medicine, and so she regularly receives the latest information on treatment and management of diseases in cats. Julia is also registered with The Veterinary Council of Ireland and currently works in St Francis Dispensary Clinic in Dublin 8.
Julia has completed a 2-year post-graduate course in Feline Medicine with the European School of Postgraduate Veterinary Studies learning in detail about the best international practices in management of different illnesses in cats. She holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Feline Practice.
Julia loves cats, has genuine interest in treatment of cats, and empathy with their owners.
